Practice management and EHR
Sevocity billing and AR support
We put trained full-time people inside your own Sevocity tenant, through a login you issue, working US hours. No migration, no software to buy, one month minimum.
We are not a partner, reseller or certified vendor of Sevocity
Sevocity (also known as Sevocity Premier) is a product of its own vendor and the name is their trademark. We have built nothing with them, we are endorsed by none of them, and we hold no product certification. What we do is put a trained person into your tenant, under your login, to work your queues. That is the whole claim, and it is checkable on your first call.
What it is
An ambulatory EHR from Conceptual MindWorks, a San Antonio company that acquired the product in 2015. It is sold on how far the templates bend to a practice rather than on breadth, and it comes in two shapes: the EHR on its own, interfaced to whichever practice management and billing system the practice already uses, or Sevocity Premier, which adds practice management, scheduling, eligibility and billing in one product.
Who runs it: Independent practices, community health centres and multi-specialty clinics, typically one to twenty providers, that want a customisable record without an enterprise rollout.
How the money moves through it
Which of the two shapes a practice runs decides where its billing problems come from. On Premier the charge, the claim and the remittance live in one place. On the EHR with a separate billing system, the encounter is documented in one product and the charge is created in another, and the interface between them is where charges go missing — not dramatically, but a few a week, in the gap between a visit being documented and a charge being raised. Nobody notices a charge that was never created, because there is no claim to chase and no denial to work.
The queues a seat works
- Encounters documented but never charged
- Interface errors between the EHR and the billing system
- Rejections at the clearinghouse
- Denials
- Patient balances
What a seat does, day to day
A seat reconciles documented encounters against raised charges every day, which is the one control that finds a missing charge while it can still be billed. Then it works the rejection and denial queues in whichever system holds them.
What goes wrong here
- A daily count of encounters closed against charges created is worth more here than any report either product ships. Two numbers that should match, and the day they stop matching is the day to look.
- Interface failures are usually silent on the clinical side. The visit looks complete in the record, so the front of the practice has no reason to suspect anything.
What this costs
An ar calling & denial management seat working your Sevocity queues is $1,700 a month, full time, one month minimum.
Questions
Do you work in Sevocity?
Yes — inside your own tenant, through a login you issue. We do not migrate you, we do not require a software change, and we are not a partner, reseller or certified vendor of Sevocity. A seat is a trained person working your queues.
What does a seat actually do in Sevocity?
A seat reconciles documented encounters against raised charges every day, which is the one control that finds a missing charge while it can still be billed. Then it works the rejection and denial queues in whichever system holds them.
What does it cost?
Seats run from $1,500 to $2,500 a month depending on the role, published per role on the pricing page. One month minimum, so the practice risks one month to find out whether it works.
How does access work?
You issue a named login with the narrowest role that covers the queue. A signed business associate agreement is in place before any credential is issued, never after.
