Offshore, disclosed on this page
Offshore medical billing, worked from Rawalpindi on your business hours
Every seat works from our office in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, logging into your system during United States business hours. Seats run $1,500 to $2,500 a month across 22 roles, published, one month minimum. We are not the cheapest offshore option and say so below.
Where the work actually happens
“Offshore” on this site means one specific place: an office in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, where every seat sits during your business hours rather than its own. A person staffed on your account starts their working day when your practice opens and works your queue in real time, not in an overnight batch somebody hands you the next morning.
A Business Associate Agreement is signed before anyone is given a login. Each seat works under one named individual account issued and controlled by you, in the practice management or EHR system you already run. Nothing is exported, printed or copied to removable media, and access ends the same day a person comes off your account.
What other offshore vendors publish, and where we sit
A comparison table where the author wins every row reads as marketing, so here is where we do not.
| Vendor | Published rate | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Outsource2india | $1,280 to $1,600 per FTE per month | view source |
| Ataraxis | $1,950 a month | view source |
| Hello Rache | $9.50 an hour | view source |
| Soft Home Global | $1,700 a month (AR calling and denials) | /pricing/ |
We are not the lowest number on this table, and would rather say so here than have a prospect find it later. What the difference buys: a role priced and published rather than quoted, a named full-time person rather than a shared or overnight resource, and a one month minimum instead of an open-ended engagement.
Offshore against hiring in the United States
The median US wage for this occupation is $51,140 a year (O*NET, citing BLS wage data), and wages are only 69.9% of total employer cost once benefits are counted (BLS Employer Costs for Employee Compensation). That puts a fully loaded US hire nearer $73,162 a year, against $20,400 a year for a Soft Home Global seat doing AR calling and denial work. What the local hire gives back is presence in the building; an offshore seat cannot cover the front desk.
Security and HIPAA for an offshore vendor specifically
- A Business Associate Agreement signed before anyone has a login, not after the first week
- One named individual account per seat, issued and revocable by you
- Nothing exported, printed or copied to removable media
- Payer and Medicaid offshore restrictions checked during qualification, before any work starts
This is the short version. The full posture, written as refusals rather than adjectives, is on /security/. If you are weighing any offshore vendor, not only us, /is-offshore-medical-billing-safe/ is ten questions worth asking before you sign anything.
Questions
Where exactly is the work done?
Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Every seat works from our office there, logging into your systems remotely during your business hours. We put this on the page you are reading rather than only in the footer address, because a decision about offshore access should not depend on a prospect scrolling to find out where "offshore" actually means.
Is offshore medical billing legal?
Generally yes for Medicare fee-for-service and most commercial payers, but it depends on the specific payer and program. Some state Medicaid programs and some Medicare Advantage and commercial contracts restrict or require disclosure of offshore access, and TRICARE is treated as restricted until a given practice’s own contract says otherwise. We ask about this during qualification, before any work starts, and will carve out anything restricted rather than touch it.
Is our data copied or stored anywhere of yours?
No. Nothing is exported, mirrored or warehoused, and nothing we run is built to hold patient data. The work happens inside your own system through a named login you issue. The full answer, including the one honest limit no vendor can eliminate, is on /security/.
Why disclose this instead of just saying "US-based team" or staying quiet about it?
Because a practice manager who finds out later, rather than being told first, has every reason to stop trusting the rest of what we say. The price is published for the same reason.
Are you the cheapest offshore option?
No, and this page says so rather than let a prospect find out later. Outsource2india publishes $1,280 to $1,600 per FTE per month, and Ataraxis publishes $1,950 a month for a full-time offshore assistant, both below our floor. What the difference buys is a published price per role rather than a quote, a named person rather than a shared resource, and a one month minimum.
How fast can an offshore seat start?
Fourteen to thirty days from a signed agreement, covering the Business Associate Agreement and training on your workflow, payer mix and system.
